Memorial Day at the Cabin

We invited my family up to Josh's parent's cabin for the long weekend. We got their Friday night and started off the weekend with dessert, then put the kiddos to bed, and then we had the night to catch up.
Saturday my sister Leah and her family came up  to join us. When we woke up, it appeared to be a nice day out so we headed out for a hike.

On our way back it got pretty windy so we headed in to play some Just Dance.

The wind blew so hard it knocked one of the trees over!

So, we continued to play inside and made some fun bead jewelry with the kids.

Just when we thought it would get nice enough to head to the lake, it started to snow.

The day's weather was so bizarre, but we still had a great time. It finally cleared up so we headed to the lake to walk around and skip rocks.

My nephew Ty fell asleep in the car so my sister Leah stayed in the car for a bit while he slept. When he woke up, (maybe 20 min.) my niece Brittyn was so excited to see him. I caught their reunion, these kids are so cute!

Jackson got tired on the walk and fell asleep on Josh.

Leah and her family had to head back, but the weather was still "nice" so we decided to take the ATV s out. Josh and my brother in -law Daryl took the kids for rides. They had a blast.

After a delicious steak dinner we made smore's with the kids. Neeley doesn't mess around with smore's, and got coconut mallows, giant mallows, and caramel mallows. She even had cinnamon grahams and regular ones too. They were delicious and a perfect way to end the night.

Sunday Neeley and her family left and Josh's family made their way up after church. Lee Ann made homemade Cafe Rio for dinner and we played card games on watched movies. We had such fun filled weekend with family.
