Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about dancing in the rain.

Home Owners!!

Can I just say how much I LOVE my new house?!! Josh and I worked really hard last weekend getting our house ready for us to move in. The minute we got the keys we started painting the entertainment room and our room. The rest of the house we liked. This past weekend we moved all of our stuff in (and when I say we, I mean Josh. . . ) I can't lift due to pregnancy, but luckily we have great family that helped Josh a lot. I can't seem to find where I packed my camera charger, so no pictures for now, but soon I promise!
It was a crazy couple of weekends, but I'm glad it's done. One story that was too funny/scary not to share is when we were trying to bring our mattress from Provo to Draper. We had just bought it in Provo and had a flat bed trailer.  We forgot tie downs but figured we were okay considering it's a 200lb King size mattress...boy were we wrong! We were driving up past Thanksgiving Point when the wind was out of control! Josh saw it first as the mattress was blown out of the trailer onto the Freeway!! It flew to the right then to the left, traffic was stopped, and finally some guy got out and pushed it to the side. We were a good half a mile away, so me and my sister in law sprinted down there so it didn't blow down the huge ravine. We got to sit there on the mattress, on the side of the freeway while Josh got off at the next exit, then back on going South, then back on going North! It was a long day, but the mattress is fine and we now know it's VERY durable!

Washington Visit

A couple of weekends ago I got to visit my family in Washington! My cousin Sawyer was getting married, so of course I took the chance to visit my mom and family. Josh couldn't come because he's just started a new job and he's trying to save up hours for this summer adventures and for when we have the baby.
The wedding was beautiful (the bride got food poisoning the night of the wedding=C) but she still looked so happy and gorgeous!

 My beautiful sister-in-law Sarah
My mom and I helped serve at the reception.
I loved seeing family and staying up late talking to my mom. I miss those nights the most with my mom so it was nice to have our girl talk=D

IT'S A BOY!

We're so excited to have a handsome little boy coming in August. He showed off his bum and nice round belly for us. I don't think I've ever seen Josh so excited, it made me laugh so hard. We were so excited to go call our families that we forgot our pictures. . . so, I'll pick those up tomorrow hehe
Yay! I'm so so excited!!

Home Sweet Home

We close on our house in about week! We're super excited to finally move up there and get settled in. Especially Josh who has been so sweet to commute everyday to Draper while I finish my student teaching in Spanish Fork.  We're only making a couple of changes to the house when we first move in: we want to finish the downstairs guess bathroom, Josh's office, and we need to paint our bedroom and entertainment room.
This is what our room looks like right now (not our furniture) and the right picture is what we want to make our room look like; color, furniture, etc. (still not our furniture, but it's very similar)

15 weeks

Here is my promised picture. I know it's not much, but I've heard the bump should pop up in a couple of weeks, so I'm looking forward to finally looking pregnant. We find out what we're having in one week! The Chinese calendar says it's a girl, I say girl, and so does most of Josh's family. My family says boy. We would love a boy (Josh has expressed he would REALLY love a boy so he can be the next Jimmer) or girl(so I can dress her in giant bows and paint her nails), so we're very excited.

15 snacks anyone??

Being pregnant makes me hungry all the time.  I have to teach classes the majority of my days, so shoving food into my mouth while trying to teach them about exercise, heart disease, and whatever else is a little difficult while chewing. My students have been awesome though, they always ask questions and want to know what size my baby is this week (fyi: it's a beautiful 4 inch apple this week).
They are so amazed that I'm not showing much yet, but I'm only 15 weeks, they just want me to be big and plump already. haha
We find out what this apple is in 2 weeks! So excited!!
